Fetch it!
No, there is no profound opinion or quirky chirps in this story – basically I just want to know whether anyone has ever seen anyone play this shot, and what it’s called?
The man in question is Australian Lee Carsaldine in a Ford Rangers Cup match between Bushrangers and Bulls and, judging by the shot, one can only assume he was facing a fairly rapid bowler.
One colleague suggested it looked like Harry Potter had traded in his broom after tiring of Quidditch and having a go at cricket. Whatever it is, it looks spectacular.
Fancy having a go at what this shot would be called? The two-footed flying hook?
