    It’s not the actual kick that is so hard, it’s the physical shin of the fighter. The kick itself as demonstrated above does not have much power at all. It’s theoretically a poor attempt at a mawashi-geri which should be struck with the bottom part of the foot, not a shin or top part of the foot. Keep in mind, the real martial artists who do Muay Thai train their legs kickin stuff like trees, etc. So their legs will be rock hard. But still not as much power in that kick as there could be. You wanna see a real mawashi-geri, check out Japanese Karate (JKA)
