Calm before the storm
Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods’s wife, has made up her mind to divorce him and plans to make their separation permanent in the New Year, it has been claimed.
The former Swedish swimwear model is “not going to be one of these ‘stand by your man’ women”, an unnamed friend told the US television news station MSNBC.
“She’s a strong woman, this is beyond embarrassing, and she has a daughter and son she has to think about, who will know about this one day.”
Another unidentified source told People magazine that Miss Nordegren – whose wedding ring has been noticeably absent from her finger in recent public appearances – had already met a divorce lawyer to discuss her pre-nuptial agreement.
The friend added: “She’s made up her mind. There’s nothing to think about: he’s never going to change.”
A removals van took away some carefully wrapped pieces of art on Wednesday from the Woods family home in Florida.
Woods, 33, has had his private and professional life shattered after at least 14 women, including two porn stars, have been identified as former lovers. He has admitted infidelity and withdrawn from international golf indefinitely.
It has also been claimed that Woods “bought the silence” of several girlfriends by regularly sending them thousands of dollars.
According to MSNBC, several unnamed women said Woods gave them monthly sums ranging from $5 000 to $10 000, with some believed to have received as much as $20 000.
“The money comes via a wire transfer. There’s no contract about it, there’s no discussion about what it’s for, but it’s implied that it’s in exchange for keeping quiet about his affair,” said one of the women.

I was wondering when Tiger would be set up. NOt all men are the same, But given that kind of money you become a target and easily tempted. After Michael Jackson, I mentioned Tiger was next. It is amazing how the ‘world’ works. Too many women on Earth. And in their defence what are they supposed to do? Go ‘Hunting’ for rich men!Now We say Tiger is weak. I will end here and make all of you think deeply.
It is always easy for people to forget that it is easy to condemn.The real lesson to be learnt here is that when Mary Magdalene was caught in the act of adultery the LORD responded to the condemning crowd by asking the first person among them who felt they were without sin to cast the first stone.
Let us therefore be reminded of our own shortcomings and hope and pray that Tiger allows GOD to help him with this problem.To his wife my advice is to forgive him.
every man cheats. my message to Mrs Tiger is that she must not divorce his man. divorcing him wont take the shame and humiliation away. Its only gonna leave her very rich and LONELY. just claim back your man God gave you. am sure u promised to love him till death do you part and in good and bad times. so far you have loved him in good times only. ths is the time to love him in bad times. just pray and ask God to give you strenght. DO NOT DIVORCE YOUR MAN.
